The Receptionist is responsible for delivering customer service. The Receptionist answers calls fielding them, accordingly, addresses questions and needs of the customer, and provides an overall welcoming environment. Must be able to work accurately and pleasantly with numerous interruptions. The Receptionist is sometimes the customers last contact with the dealership and therefore must represent the dealership in a friendly, professional manner.  

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma 
  • 1-year experience as a receptionist
  • Professional appearance and disposition
  • Strong communication skills, listening
  • Must have computer knowledge
  • Detail oriented, problem solver
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assure readiness of the reception area for each working day
  • Answer all calls promptly and direct people to the appropriate location
  • Greet customers in a professional manner
  • Handle customer complaints politely but firmly direct the customer to the appropriate manager 
  • Must be cooperative, courteous, helpful, and pleasant to work with
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
  • Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answers any questions customers may have
  • Maintain the general office filing system
  • Take inventory of office supplies and restock as needed
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned 
  • Working with all aspects of Microsoft office - Word, Excel, Outlook ETC.
  • Respect and always maintain privacy and dignity of customers and assure confidentiality
