The Accounting Clerk will assist with inventory, database and record maintenance, prepare financial reports, issues checks and make deposits. Understands accounting and financial principles.   


  • 1-2 years of automotive industry business office management experience.
  • CDK experience preferred.
  • Complete understanding of deal posting process.
  • Degree preferred but not required.
  • Detail oriented with excellent communication skills and a professional personal appearance.
  • Self-motivated; able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize workload to solve problems.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and be able to provide vaccination card for COVID -19


  • Maintaining a database, ensuring that records are complete and current.
  • Recording information, processing, and filing forms.
  • Preparing checks, deposits, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Updating ledgers, researching, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Abiding by all company procedures and accounting principles.
  • Responding appropriately to a vendor, client, and internal requests.
  • Ensuring Accounting Department runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Receives timely and processes accurately all new and used deal paperwork from F&I Department.
  • Reviews and verifies all deal related documentation are correctly organized per deal checklist to ensure file completeness.
  • Review tax and title document to ensure compliance with all State and Federal laws in conjunction with company policies.
  • Must verify sales log and RDR accuracy.
  • Verifies all incentives submissions to factory.
  • Reviews dealership’s outstanding receivables on an ongoing basis and is responsible for implementation of the collections. (i.e. contracts in transit and vehicle accounts receivable)
  • Reconciles selected accounts/schedules related to deal posting. (ex. CIT, Vehicle Receivables, DMV, F&I Reserve, Incentives, and Aftermarket Products on a weekly basis.)
  • Updated daily deal status complete with notes in Axcessa.
  • Completes timely end-of-month accounting processing, reconciliations, and reports.
  • Assist in completion of interim and annual audit.
  • Provide administrative support to management, other departments and employees as needed.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
